what I do
Software Remediation - A large number of project work has crossed my path
where the client was migrating to another platform and needed to have their applications validated, and in
many cases's re-written for the new platform. These have ranged from REXX to VB6.
Application Prototype - In creating a prototype you can gain valuable insight into what the final product may actually
look like. You can eliminate problems before getting too deep into the programming and avoid project delays and
resorting to bad coding principles and implementing kludgey fixes.
Web Programming - I use pretty much all of the standard web languages, ASP, HTML, PHP, JavaScript, CSS and so on. I also do website
design and some graphic work but I am not a trained graphic designer, but I make do and even
surprise myself at times.
about me
As a senior consultant with IBM Global Services, I learned that being a strong ambassador
for the client was the cornerstone of a successful relationship. With a working knowledge of IT environments,
I've successfully collaborated in the planning, implementation and maintenance of numerous projects involving
software and hardware in a diverse range of solutions.
My career goals are quite simple, learn more and do more. I love learning new technologies and then using
them to create a better UI and UX for the client and the consumer. I would like to work for a company that's
willing to focus on the client's current needs and not bother with the uncertainty of the future. The future doesn't
exist and the past is best left to historians. When you focus on what's happening now the client's needs and
expectations are always surpassed.
